Aspect Construction has commenced works on a long awaited Crematorium to serve the Northwich, Winsford and Vale Royal area. The £2.1m project will provide the town and surrounding area with a Crematorium and Garden of Remembrance set in the heart of the countryside.
The state of the art building will consist of a new build crematorium that will be constructed from a timber roof supported off load bearing masonry walls, with steelwork forming the structure of the cremator room. The building has been designed specifically to incorporate the rural surroundings and will integrate sensitive landscaping and memorial gardens.
The development, which is being built on behalf of the Westerleigh Group, is due to be completed at the end of February with the commencement of funeral services in March 2014.
Wesley Allmark, Construction Director has commented: “ We are delighted to commence works at the Vale Royal Crematorium, which will be a boost to local business and serve the local area”
Managing Director of the Westerleigh group Richard Evans has stated about the positive response to the new crematorium.
“Lots of people have been in touch with me since they heard we were going ahead to say how much it is needed and they are glad that there will finally be something more local and modern to choose.”
