Aspect Construction has recently started works at Bangor University for the refurbishment of the Music Department building. The scheme will include the construction of a new main entrance as well as a comprehensive internal refurbishment, including replacement windows and extensive mechanical and electrical services installations, along with introduction of a new, three-storey passenger lift.
The project will be delivered to BREEAM very good and will utilise BIM level 2 methodologies. Works are due to be completed in summer 2016 allowing for the new in take in September.
Aspect Construction’s Construction Director, Wesley Allmark said: “The Bangor University Music Department refurbishment is a fantastic opportunity for Aspect Construction, not only is it a great way for us to utilise our BIM expertise, but we are also excited about the opportunity of working with a new University client, in a new region.”
