Keele University have chosen Aspect Construction as preferred bidder to deliver the Huxley STEM teaching Laboratory extension.
The project will provide circa1600m2 of highly serviced biology laboratory over a four storey extension. The building works comprise of teaching laboratorys, research labs, support spaces and offices together with modifications of the existing building, creating a new entrance and plant room.
Construction Director, Wesley Allmark said; “We are very pleased to be working with Keele University on this project. Our experience gained from delivering other stem projects will support this scheme, and we look forward to delivering an excellent facility. other Universities will help support Keele University in coping with anticipated student number growth for the Faculty of Natural Sciences”
Works will be carried out whilst the existing building is fully operational, with minimal disruption to the daily activities of the University. Works are under way and is scheduled for completion in January 2017.
